Photography Rooted in Story

They can preserve a season of your life, reveal something true about who you are, communicate the heart of your work, or become something entirely new through the creative process.
I take on a limited number of sessions so I can approach each one with intention, curiosity, and care. Whether we're creating portraits, building a visual library for your business, or developing a conceptual work of art, the experience is collaborative, relaxed, and shaped around what we're creating together.
Choose the experience that best fits your story.

Conceptual Art

Where photography becomes something more.
Conceptual Art sessions are collaborative fine-art experiences built around story, emotion, symbolism, and transformation.
Rather than simply selecting photographs from a gallery, we create source material together and I continue the work in the studio through detailed retouching, compositing, texture, and digital artistry. A single finished piece may be constructed from multiple photographs and layers.
The final collection is intentionally small because each conceptual image is created as an individual artwork.
Starting at $1,212
Includes:
- Creative consultation and concept development
- Pre-production planning
- Up to 4 hours of photography
- 4 fully realized conceptual artworks
- A small artist-selected collection of supporting portraits, when the session naturally produces them
- 4 archival fine-art prints
- Personal-use rights
Additional Conceptual Artwork · $444
Additional finished artworks may be commissioned from your existing session and established creative concept.
New photography or significant changes in concept, location, styling, props, sets, or other production requirements are quoted separately before additional work begins.

My work is rooted in reverence — for light, for presence, for the unspoken stories within us. I approach each session as both witness and artist, creating space for authenticity to unfold naturally. Every portrait is a conversation between earth and ether — a moment suspended, a memory made luminous.
How do I book a photo session with you?
Simply reach out through my contact form or email me directly. We’ll begin with a short conversation about your vision — what you hope to capture, how you want it to feel. Once we align on details, I’ll send an invoice and reserve your date. A deposit and signed agreement secure your session.
When will I see my photographs?

Heirloom Portrait and Branding collections are generally delivered within 4–6 weeks.
Conceptual Art collections typically require 6–8 weeks because each finished artwork involves more extensive studio work. Expanded conceptual commissions may receive a custom delivery timeline.

Can I print my photographs myself?

Yes. Personal portrait collections include personal-use rights, so you may print your digital photographs for yourself and your family.
I also offer archival fine-art printing because I believe favorite photographs deserve a life beyond a screen.
How far do you travel?

Local travel within 30 miles of Athens, Ohio is included with your session.
Locations beyond that area may include a travel fee based on distance and travel time. Destination sessions or locations requiring significant travel, lodging, permits, or other expenses are quoted individually before booking.
What should I wear for my session?

Choose pieces that feel like you — garments that move, breathe, and let you feel free. Natural tones, soft textures, and flowing fabrics photograph beautifully in most environments. Once your session is booked, upon request, I can share a styling guide to help you find the look that aligns with the tone of your portraits.
What inspires your work?

Light, always. The way it touches skin, the way it reveals truth in fleeting seconds. I’m inspired by nature, mythology, and the quiet resilience of the human spirit — the spaces between emotion where something sacred lives. Each portrait is my way of honoring that light before it fades.
Can I customize a package?
Absolutely, within reason.
Location, wardrobe, timing, and creative direction can all be shaped around your session. Because each package reflects the complete creative process rather than individual hours, files, or physical products, removing an included element does not necessarily reduce the session investment.
If what you're envisioning falls substantially outside an existing package, I'm happy to discuss a custom scope.
What does the Branding commercial license include?
Branding sessions include a non-exclusive commercial usage license for promoting your own business or professional brand.
Images may be used on your website, organic social media, email marketing, business listings, presentations, brochures, business cards, signage, and similar owned marketing materials.
Copyright remains with the photographer. Images may not be sold, sublicensed, transferred to another business, or substantially altered without permission.
Expanded advertising campaigns, third-party use, product packaging or merchandise, resale, publication, and large-scale commercial campaigns may require additional licensing.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment arrangements may be available depending on the session and booking timeline. Feel free to ask when you're ready to book.
